  1. I'd have to go with a both Fallout 3 and Bioshock; I'm a huge fan of the art-deco retrofuturistic feel, and the fact that both games approach the same artistic theme and manage to have their own respective take on it is great.

A close second is Deus Ex: Human Revolution - a game that manages to juxtapose the clean lines and high tech of the megacorporations with the squalor of the decrepit city streets and make the whole thing look great.

Barely edged out by Deus Ex for me is TF2: it has the whole retro-50s world of tomorrow vibe like fallout, combined with art that looks to be a combination of dreamworks, looney toons, and Norman Rockwell.

Also worthy of mention, for a non AAA title I'd say that the Trine series has some of the best looking art styles around; every frame of that game is gorgeous.
